On my IBM CCM V4.1 (Windows 2000 server) and on any browser, to log on as CCM Administrator I need to authenticate twice :
First in an Internet Explorer window I type in username and password, then I obtain the ccmadmin/main.asp page but a second java like window prompts one more time the username and password.

How to suppress this second authentication ?

you can shut off the Java option in internet options (requires restart of browser)

Thanks but
I tried this and it doesnot work : I always have the second java window.

No It's Java V1.4.2_06
But with Java activated dis you really have the second window ?

When using Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE), a window displays asking for the userid and password. When SUN JRE is used in IE, there will be a second login window prompt for user name and password from JRE. Click the remember password button to always use that password; however, security may become an issue because the password would always be available. If you do not set remember password, you will have to enter the password every time this window displays.

Optionally, you can disable the second login window in IE by navigating to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Java (Sun). Uncheck the Use Java 2 v1.4.2_0x <applet> (requires restart) check box. The change takes effect when you close all IE windows and restart IE.
