Have CCM server on main site which is connected to the NIU on that site and also connected to NIU on remote stand-alone site. The NIU connection on the main site is perfect but the other connection is dropping and reconnecting constantly. This can be seen both in the ALLOP and Event Viewer on the server.
When this remote connection was originally put in the customer was using their "own" 2 meg "pipe" for data. Since then this has been removed and replaced by (what they tell me) an IP VPN. I believe it was at this time that the problem started. The NIU at the remote site has been changed and if a direct network connection is made to the NIU it is fine. Apparently there is no packet loss over the circuit.
Has anybody had anything similar? Is it a latency issue? Any ideas how to resolve, apart from another CCM sever at remote site.
