We have a 200 4.0.2.03a setup is BCM in the UK and signalling serve in the US.

The issue we are experiencing is we can dial the 4 digit internal ext of 4 out of 5 sites and to make matter worse the site we cannot dial can dial us ok using the 4 digit ext.

Speaking to the phone tech in the US what he is telling is that when we runs a capture on the PBX that we cannot dial he is receiving insufficient digits. (see below)

Given we are calling from the Same PBX using the same signalling server I am lost as to where to start looking to troubleshoot this issue.

Any advise out there

the ldn of a nortel pbx sets the number of digits that the pbx will look at from the far end.. if it works one way part of the time, then look at layer one again.. the software is usually all or nothing.. if he can't dial you, his msgi shows sending the correct digits needed by your bcm? look at digits rec.. you have to get the same number of digits from him that your getting for ddi trunks.. you can make ties accept more or less but if the dialplan is transpartent, it should work the same as tdm

Get someone to look at the NRS, it sounds like something is programed wrong
