Cause code 17

Ive got a system that appears to drop calls.
Working with verizon they are telling me that
the numbers being called ar busy and that they send
cause code 17. Rather then hearing a busy signal
the system is just dropping the call.
Anybody been down this road?

Oh yea... upgrade to 3.1.65. This was an issue with a couple of 3.1.xx releases.

Before you do that upgrade - please look at the telephony tabs for the users - is off-hook station selected? If so, uncheck it and then try it. It should correct the problem. Then do the upgrade and please post your results. Thanks - it's hard to get accurate information sometimes and this site is a big help.

That did the trick. Much appreciated. did not do the upgrade just the offhook station.

Yeah, that one burned me when I first started working with IPO. The kicker is, I'm pretty sure when you use the wizard to build a database, I think it turns that option on by default.

Thus, I haven't used the wizard since, as its too stupid to really know what we all need here in the real world.

Ahhhh the wizard that would explain why ive never had this problem before. Been installing these things since they came out and never had this problem. Ive looked at a few of the others and none of them have it turned on. Think I tried the wizard with this one when i was pre programing it in the lab.
