thinking of upgrading our 6500 from cat6000-supcv.6-3-7.bin to cat6000-sup2cvk8.7-6-7.bin. I know "cv" is for CiscoView but not sure what k8 is for...any ideas ?

thanks

I believe the k8 stands for some encryption they added to the os . I think you started seeing this after they hit the 7.X train . Don't think you can get anything else if you are above 7.0 but I could be wrong .
