Hi,
1.We have 2 Catalyst 4506-L3 switches A & B.HSRP is configured between the 2 switches.A is the active switch.I have anothe 4506 switch C uplinked to A & B.I have connected a PC to switch C.If I shutdown switch A it takes 45 sec for switch B to become active.Again I power on switch A ,it takes 30 sec for switch A to again become active(Preempt).What should I configure so that switch B becomes active immedeately when switch A is down & also switch A should become active immedeately when it is up.
2.I have configured ether channnel bundle(3 10/100 ports)& configured as trunk between switch A & B.I have used ports 1/1,1/2 & 1/3 on both the switches.When I disconnect port 1/3 first,the bundle works fine.But if I disconnect port 1/1first ,the whole link goes down between A & B.
Let me know if anybody has a solution for this.
