Hi, we recently converted a standalone network from a CAT5 based network to totally fiber replacing our 2950 switches with two stacked 3750-24FS switches. installed in each Windows XP machine is a 3Com 990B-FX-97 Fiber card, 100MB Full Duplex, however network performance hasnt been what it should be, users can no longer copy large files i.e. 2GB in size from one location to the other, it simply times out, and task manager reveals that network utilization on the card is only at 0.78% max! Is there a setting I need to configure on the switch to up this so that devices can fully utilizes the capabilities, as its not the fiber runs that are the problmem as we've hooked two machines directly into the switch and copying large files between the two is taking forever when it should only take a couple minutes if that, or it errors out returning with a semaphore timeout. This worked decently on our copper network, so what gives! HELP!
