cat 4006 copper gbic module lights yellow

I am new to catalyst 4006. We installed (3) 24 port copper gbic modules. The light on each gbic module is yellow, not green. In config, supervisor engine listed, butno gbic modules listed. Should the gbic modules be automatically listed in the config, or is there some software config that must be done so that the 4006 will recognize the modules?

A quick check on CCO shows that these blades are supported under Native IOS in versions 6.3(1), 7.1(1), 7.2(1). I would check to see that you are running a version of software that supports the blades. Todd Hethmon

Just an FYI, the latest CatOS for the 4006's is 7.4(1)... darn those guys... have to upgrade my 13 4006's again... argh...
