Cat 3550 Switches

Spec'ing out single mode fiber for a 1 gig upgrade to a building that is about 3 miles away. Looked through the Cisco web site and found alot of info, but just want to make sure before I blow lots of $$$.
What GBIC module do I use in the Cat 3550 switch?
1000BASE-LH GBIC?

Any help or ideas or concerns would be welcomed.

Yes the 1000BASE-LX GBIC is that one that you would want.

Here is a Cisco link that should give you al the information you need. It also tells you the kind of fiber that you'll need (in terms of core size).
