Recently my case had got busted up in shipment from CA to MI, thank you USPS. I am looking into an Antec SX1000 model( Are these towers good for cooling on a 1.4Ghz Athalon? If not what would be a good brand? My other choice was an Evercase ECE4252( Is this a better choice? My main concern is cooling on a high-end processor, currently the 1.4Ghz Athalon, but I want to upgrade to a 1.9Ghz+ AthalonXP. Anyone got some ideas?

Hi, just to clarify, the Athlon XP 1900+ only clocks at 1600 Mhz, the name is just called AthlonXp 1900+

The Lian-Li cases look nice but what type of system are you running and what type of performance increase have you received from changing?

Most of the "performance increase" has been in maintenance time reduction :-)

If I want to upgrade cards, RAM or anything, I just pull out the mobo tray, upgrade, and off I go.

And they look sooo good.

I'm not really into overclocking, although I dabble. These cases allow fantastic airflow, and keep my processor around 35C. So I guess it'd be great for o/c ing.

Read Dan's review - and there are more reviews on other respected sites, like Ars Technica and Overclockersonline.

Here's a couple more - most reviewers say the same things; Top quality, very light, great for cooling, but a tad pricey. My opinion is that you pay for quality.

The Antec case is made out of 1.0mm SECC. What is Secc?
