Case of the Missing Quark File!

So i've been working a quark file for a couple weeks now, and i saved my work, exited quark and sent it to my boss. He opens it up just fine, and Alt-s. But now the file is missing. We tried opening through the recent document settings, but we get the file missing message.

How did you send it to your boss? If it was opened from an email attachment, the QXD is probably hiding in your TEMP folder.

If you sent it to someone, then you likely copied the file to them. Where is your original?
