Hi all, I unplugged a phone the other day and left it unplugged for 2 days. I plugged it in this morning and tried to enable it in ld 20 and received the following:

CARD UNEQ

It is on the same tn and port as before

what could i do to fix this?

thanks all

Somebody must have removed the programming for your set.

If you program it new, you will be fine.

and that had to be the only phone on that card?
ld 20
prt
dnb

that would imply that i would suspect you may have written down or recalled the tn incorrectly... just a guess

ld 11
new
cardmlt
then the card tn,

idu x x x with the tn of the card.. that tells you if there is a card in that slot.. that comes in handy when you dial in or, like me, would rather not get up and walk to loop 152 0, which is about a mile due west of the switchroom.. a dozen fiber loops spreads the switch out.. another command i find helpful, when i lose something,,, ld 97 prt xpe, that give me the xpe (number on the controller face plate) then idcs 35.. in opt 81, that would be the bottom shelf over in the new heart hospital, next door... may have to much time on my hands on a rain drenched saturday

thanks for the replies

btw forgot to mention this is an Option 11c

I rebooted the system and was able to ENLU it. Its online now.

there are about 8 other lines on that card. That TN however is part of a HUNT and I believe it has a MARP on it. I noticed during reboot that it said ENLU 00 MARP 07 00 03. That was the TN in question.

Not sure what happened. Just knew a quicker fix for it for next time

that port looked a little corrupt.. ie a file pointer was not deleted when it should have been, leaving the station both inservice/idle and oos/idle.. a reboot is a quick fix, i tend not to recogmend that.. i've seen a quick reboot turn into a "how fast can you type" problem.. blowing away the cdb and all tn's is a bad way to start a week
