does anyone know how to capture the product key used during the installation of win98? i had it written down and now i can't seem to find it.

capturing product key for win98 once installed 2

Run regedit
Goto HKey_Local_Machine>software>microsoft>windows>CurrentVersion
Click on the current version folder and the "product key" will appear on the right.
Remember, you are opening the registry, careful not to change or delete anything by mistake.
