capturing a printer

Hello, I run this command:

net use lpt3: \\greenserver\HPLJ3330 /persistent:yes

I get a successful message

When I do a dir > lpt3:
I get access denied

I checked the printer security, and it is shared to everyone in the domain.

I can print to this printer through windows.

My work station is running XP pro
