can't view workgroup computers from the server -
the server is AD , DNS server, and DHCP. All the PCs that are joined to the domain, could access the server resources,

we have couple of PCs that are not joined to the domain but in the same workgroup, they were only using the printer. <-- these computers can't access the server anymore, they could access any other computer in the workgroup but the server, even if i make the printer path with the ip address, its still doen't see the server

it seems like a problme with the server, but don't know wher to go from here,

any thought, ??

What are your client pcs using for an OS and how are they configured?

Have your tried accessing the server by using typing in the UNC path name in run? \\servername or \\ip address

Any workstation that needs to access the server will need to be logged on with a user account that is created on the sever. Even if they are not logging into the domain.

the clients pcs are all XPs, -

i did try \\servername, and \\ip address, with no luck

the workstations do have a username and password setup on the server already,

the thing is it use to work fine , all i've done to the server, is i installed "the routing services, then i uninstall, - but i'm not sure what could of happened ??

thanks again
