Can't update Programs wi 2000 Pro

I downloaded updates to my main programs (freehand, acrobat reader), but when I launch the updates I get the message: "Setup has determined that there is no product installed to update. Setup will now terminate."
I don't know if I need to edit the registry or why the updater setup program can't detect the original programs, which run just fine.

may be the problem in the updates ,, whish are older than the original softwares !

try to check the date of the updates first ,, if they are newer try to re-install the original software again ,, and then use the updaters ! Eng.Mohamed Farid
