Can't Uninstall Microsoft office 2000 Premium 1

Having difficulty uninstalling Microsoft Office 2000 Premium. When I go to Add/Rmove programs and click on remove to remove this program, it goes through the motions of removing it, but does not remove. Can someone give me advice on how to remove program. OS is XP Home.
