I just installed NT server as a second OS on an Omnibook 4150. The user wanted NT Server and SQL server set up on a D: partition. I used partionMagic to create a D: logical and installed NT server there.
when I try to install the video driver the process goes peachy. I get a "driver installed successfully" and it tells me I need to restart the darn machine, Great!
Problem is, when I reboot, the machine is still using the generic driver. Done and redone several times. The initial attempts were using drivers from the driver pakage downloaded off the HP website today. Then I went to the C: drive and copied the driver file to D: and used the Video driver from there with the exact same results.
The driver is a neomagic256 or something darn close to that. Suggestions?
