I've just installed Qmail and IMP on RedHat 7.3 and had everything up and working. It was working well for about a week until I tried to install the password changing tool for Horde. Whilst doing so, I found that I was no longer sending or receiving emails.
The emails I am attempting to send are queuing and appear to be delivered, but they are not being received by the recipient. This problem seems to be intermittent as on the odd occasion, some messages will be delivered. Incoming emails are always being rejected and are bouncing back to the sender.
All services appear to be running. I can telnet in and out on all ports SMTP 25, POP3 110 & IMAP 143. I cannot see any evident problems yet nothing seems to work.
I re-enabled sendmail to see if I could get it to send and it wouldn't work either, neither would UNIX mail. This makes me think my problem may be a general mailing problem more then a just a Qmail problem, but if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it, as I have run out of ideas.
