Can't select multiple table cells

I'm a Dreamweaver novice using Dreamweaver UltraDev 4. I'm trying to merge 2 cells in a nested table but I'm having trouble selecting them. (I'm in Layout View.)

I don't know what I did but yesterday, I could select 2 cells by dragging my cursor across two or more cells.

Today - no can do.

Yesterday, when I right-clicked anywhere in the table, the context menu had:
Table >
as the first item. Then I could choose "Select table, Insert row, Insert column, and so on.

Today, the context menu has:
Paragraph format
List
Align
Font, etc.

What silly little change have I made and how do I unmake it?

try changing ur view to standard view (it will be the last item in the tool box)...

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull
