I am creating a document in Word 2003 SP3 that consists of flowchart Autoshapes that I wish to connect with Connector lines. However, when I go to select the connect lines, they are grayed out and I am unable to select one.

I've looked through what documentation that I can find and nothing is pointing me to why these would be unavailable to me. Is there a setting that I need to set, or is it possible that some component is missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance

I don't have Word 2003 on this system, but I believe you need a drawing canvass to be able to have the connectors enabled.

Thanks! That got me going in the right direction.
