Hello,

I'm upgrading all our 98 machines with 2000 and some XP. Some of the 2000 cpus can get as far as the workgroup, but when I go in it, there are no computers in the workgroup. I have internet connectivity, but can't browse the workgroup. Even if I try the UNC, it still doesn't work. Anyone know why?

Thanks,

Dan

When you converted from Win9x to Win2k or WinXP you changed the model of password security, local share security, and other issues in a Workgroup.

. Win98-Win2k should be OK
. Win98 or Win2k to WinXP may be problematic
