Sometimes I can see the effects of my CSS styles in the WYSIWYG window, but if I make changes to the .css file sometimes it doesn't "refresh" in the window. Other times it does.

How can i 'refresh' or 'reload' the WYSIWYG window to reflect any changes I have made?

Now that i think about it, sometimes images dont show up either. I know the link is right, but for some reason it just doesnt show up. There has to be a way to refresh the window.

Thanks in advance,

Yep, Look at it in a browser. your site visitors wont be using dreamweaver.

ChrisHirst,

But I want to be able to see it without previewing in the browser. I know it can be done because I can see the style effects on some of my .asp files without previewing in the browser.

Im thinking that I need to 'refresh' or 'reload' the page in the dreamweaver somehow.

F5 = site info.

Im not talking about Dreamweavers 'preview in browser' feature, .. im talking about the actual WYSIWYG developement window.

I want to see my styles applied as im creating the page in dreamweaver.

anyone know what im talkin about? =P

I fully understand what you are talking about.

For eg: If you make changes to an external style sheet you wish to see those changes reflected in design view of a document that is using that sheet.

So make your changes to the style sheet with the documents closed or if they are open click in the design view and either hit the refresh button in properties or as i have already said click F5. This will refresh the file with the new style settings.

Also bear in mind that many CSS properties are not supported in DW preview. Which is why I suggested viewing it in a browser.
