Can't search for files

Windows explorer file search won't work.
When I click the search button nothing happens

No but I do have two NIC's one for cable modem and the other
for a print server (I do large print jobs and needed an extra printer port since I already had used up two parallel ports)
I don't have any other computers networked right now.
