Can't Register McAfee Total Protection 2007

I recently installed McAfee Total Protection 2007 using the Vista-compatible download from the McAfee website. However, when I try to register the software, I get a blank screen under Product Setup. I've contacted McAfee live webchat and their solution of course is to delete cookies, uninstall and reinstall the software. I've done this repeatedly to no avail and was wondering if anyone else was having this same problem??? Thanks for any help anyone can give!

Perhaps there is some setting in your newly installed McAfee that is actually preventing you from registering the product. How is the registration program accessing McAfee's Internet site? Is this registration necessary or compulsory, can you explain the actual process as most of us don't use McAfee?
