cant print record - tried everywhich way - HELP

I have a form - which pulls data from a table by different criteria. Works fine. But once I get the record I want in the form - I can't get it to print. It doesn't show in print preview either. I tried several posts - all dealing with setting up a report, then having a cmd button on the form -pull the report - via a query. I can't get it to work that way either. I've never had this happen.

should'nt you be able to print the record you are viewing in a form thru the regular menu bar print functions?
VERY frustrated, I know I've printed records this way before...did I accidently screw something up?

It sounds like you might have the Display When property of the form set to Screen Only. You need to set it to Always.

thank you hneal98. I knew it was something STUPID...
and I spent 2 HOURS trying different things.....well, at least I learned a LOT OF OPTIONS that WOULD HAVE worked if I had taken care of the STUPID error in the beginning....

I have learned so much from you folks at tek-tips, Access is not an easy program to learn "on your own" you guys are wonderful & I express my gratitude to you all for spending time on those of us who have "sometimes stupid" questions...
