Hi Fellas
I Have opened "MS Windows XP Inside Out", it came as a PDF File. When I try to print the document or just certain pages I find the "PRINT" command under FILE greyed out. The "Print Setup" is accessable. Any ideas would be appreciated. I have opened the PDF using Acrobat Pro V6, not the reader.

It's highly likely that the PDF document is encrypted. This means you will not be able to print the document - it was only intended for reading and searching through.

This only makes sense. Imagine if you were easily able to run off lots of copies of the book for your friends. The author would lose money on lost book sales.

Almost certainly the PDF is protected against printing.

this is becoming the norm for many publications. the best you can do is "save a copy" so you can read it offline, but you will still not be able to print it.

Thanks Fellas for your replies, I wasn't aware that there was such a thing. I have learn't something new again. Thanks for your time.
