Outlook 2000, Internet E-mail/PST file. When the user tries to print multiple e-mail messages (highlight 2+ messages, hit print,) they get: "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error."

When going through the print dialog, the Memo styles' 'Page Setup' and 'Define Style' buttons are grayed out and the printer is locked in on her default; that's grayed out, too.

I've run SCANPST on her mailbox, tried it from a new PST file and repaired the MS Office installation. Has anyone encountered a problem like this before?

It's not a program limitation, I just successfully printed 3 highlighted e-mails at once.

I know; I can print them just fine and don't have any of the limitations she does. I guess I just need to reinstall Outlook.

Well, SR-1a seems to have partially solved the problem. The user still cannot access Print/Memo style options or change the printer (even on Plain Text format,) but can now print SOME multiple e-mails.

If she prints more than 3-4 simultaneously, they will skip messages or print out of order; if she prints 9-10+ at the same time, Outlook gets an illegal operation error and closes down...
