For the last few days I can't open "https" pages in my IE6 browser. I can open "http" pages OK, but get the dreaded "this page cannot be displayed" page. I have done all recommended on the page, but to no avail.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

First, check the date and time on your PC. If that's OK visit the browser forum (forum608) and search for secure. You will find many references to this problem.

Open a dos box (cmd on the Start/Run field) and enter these commands:

regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 dssenh.dll
regsvr32 rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 sccbase.dll
regsvr32 slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll

On the "initpki.dll" registration it took my computer a few minutes
