I have a PC running W2K and I am having problems opening applications via Citrix.

I can connect to the server via our VPN, but I just cant open any of the apps, or access the full desktop. I've tried various ways, but the result is always the same.

If I browse to the Citrix server, I can login, and get presented with the correct folders and icons. No matter which I choose, I get the popup windows syaing connecting, authenticating etc, but then no app opens. Same when I try and open full desktop. I've tried installing the client and connecting via Citrix program neighbourhood, but the result is the same.

As far as I can tell, the config of the server is OK, since I can run the apps quite happily from my PC in the office. The W2K machine at home, can run other apps quite happily via the VPN (e.g. Outlook to the Exchange server, map network drives, etc), so I can only assume there is something with the config of the machine that is causing problems with Citrix.

Any suggestions?

Looks like licensing. You either need more licenses or you need to install and activate WIndows TS licensing.

I think. What OS is Citrix running on ?

You're right it was a licensing issue. I deleted the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\MSLicensing key and everything was good!

Thanks
