Please help. I am trying to move e-mails to a personal folder but a message keeps appearing saying "unable to move items, they were either deleted or moved or access denied"

Try running the Inbox Repair Tool on all the .PST files in question. Search your drive for a file called scanpst.exe and run it.

Are you trying to copy these from your personnal Outlook today Mail box or is this from a Shared Mail Box ?
You might also want to check the size of your PST file as well. It is strongly recommended that you do not exceed 2gig worth of E-mail.
Like what Elise said running SCANPST on your .pst file might work as well. I say run it twice to be on the safe side.
