Cant mail to certain sites as I have in past

This problem has cropped up before and disappeared by itself. A user on my system using Outlook(CW) in the past was able to send to xzzz@excite.com. Now he can receive but now he can not send to xzzz@excite.com. I tried it also and I cant send to any address at excite .com
WE get the message

"the following recepients could not be reached.

'xzzz@excite.com' on 3/07/02 10:33 am
the recepient name is not recognized
the MTS-ID of the original message is -------then our id stuff
