Can't login to VSS

I just installed VSS 6.0 and I am trying to access old files that I used to use when I have VSS on my old computer but I cannot login to VSS. I am getting errors regarding the srcsafe.ini file not found, but I can browse to it, but it says it still can't find it, or I get invalid DOS path. I have search on anything for this error, but can't find anything to help. It talks about making sure the client path is in srcsafe.ini, etc. Would that be on my computer? what about the the user in my name on the lan where the actual sourcesafe files are?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
