Hi everybody!

Have been trying to login for the whole day - have read a lot of materials.

Connect to this switch (4226T) through the console cable (I don't know it's IP) with my putty.exe programm and see there:
Login:
I've tried:
1. login: admin
password: <empty>
2. login: monitor
password: monitor
3. login: manager
password: manager
4. login: recovery
password: recovery
(during 30 sec's hard reset)
5. went on special "often used password's"
6. on more idea was to upgrade switch OS through the console cable, but in this case the current config file will be lost 4ever, as I understand...

I checked if it is working by connecting my desktop PC and my Laptop to 1 and 2 ports (of course pre-configure them to be in one subnet) - no pings.

in 9 and 10 ports - pings successfull, so vlans...

but i couldn't find how to upgrade soft through console cable???

and is it possible to login without loosing the config files in 3Coms???? (I know it is in cisco's switchees through the rommon and mode button)
