The browser I use is IE 6.0. I usually visit a website called Games.com, however, as of late, when I try to get on the site, my computer freezes up, and I have to do a CTRL + ALT + DEL to bring up my task list and end Internet Explorer. I can't even get to the first page of the site, whereas, I was able to before. I checked my security settings, and everything seems to be functioning normally. Could this be happening because I am running low on memory or is there another issue at hand??? Please advise!

Thank you very much!

There are two issues I can think of:-
1). I used IE6 for a while and reverted back to IE5.5 because I was sick and tired of the problems connecting to the net and surfing the net.
2). It may well be that your ISP does not want you to go to those sites for security reasons.I also had that problem and I changed providers. I have had no problems since, so don't think it is you or your system.

Sounds like a java issue, IE6 does not support java out of the box, you have to download either the Sun version direct from Sun or the MS JVM which seems to work better, however it is no longer available from MS but can be obtained from various 3rd party sites. Try a google search on MS JVM and you should find it easily enough. Help us to help you, please post back and tell us if this helped.

All things are possible except skiing through a revolving door.
