can't load a tape from the tape librairy

our configuration is :
Windows 2k server and Brightstor Arcserve Backup version11.1 (compilation 3060).

We can't do any backup because it seems that load any tape from the librairy. I mean if I erase a tape then this one is loaded and then the backup will run but if I try to run a job without any tape loaded before then the backup will fail.

does anyone have an idea

Run Device Configuration to setup the support for the library. If the library has more than one tape drive or more than (I think it is) 20 slots then the Tape Library Option will also be needed.
