Each time I try to run the Setup.exe to install, I get the initial setup window but then the system hangs. I have to use the task manager to kill it. I have tried running the setup from a cd as well as from a network drive but with no luck. I have also copied the installed fpw26 directory from my old pc and tried running the foxprow.exe but system hangs as well. The Patch for the divide by zero error has been applied as my old pc was a pentium 3 750. Can anyone offer any direction on how to resolve this issue?

Can't install FoxPro 2.6 in XP

There are a number of threads here that discuss this
problem on computers with OSs and more memory that wheren't available at the time FPW 2.6a was last updated (August 2, 1994!).
First, do a MODI COMM sysy(2019), and if you don't have a MEMLIMIT entry in your CONFIG.FPW file consider adding:
MEMLIMIT=60, 2048, 16384
Also make sure that if you have a "tempfile" configuration settings, that the drives / directories exist on the new PC.
