Can't insert pages

Hi all! I'm running Quark version 5 on Windows XP. I recenty had to reinstall the program due to a hard drive death... and ever since, the program has been acting weird. I cannot insert pages. Plus, there is no master page! When I click on the master page icon in the pages palette, it takes me to the first page... slightly to the left of it. Weird! Any ideas? Thanks!

...sorry to hear of your hard drive collapse, hope it wasn't too costly for you...

...do any other programs you have installed run ok or is this weird behaviour isolated to quark only...

...by the sounds of it you have had to reinstall everything all over again from the Op System upwards, is this correct?
