can't import my old pc address book into my new pc...

Hi. I would like to import my old pc address book into my new pc. I backed up the old address book and copied it on a cd ( what I did was searching for .wab...)
now I have to install it into my new pc... microsoft says I have to find the address book in my new pc. it says do a search for *.wab in my new pc...

the problem is the search comes up with nothing. no .wab files in my new pc .
what I beleive is the problem is, upon isntallation, I probably associated the address book with onother program , and not a microsoft program....or what else?

so how can I paste my old address book into my new machine,
how can I associate my outlook express with .wab ?

What happens when you open the default address book on the new machine - either from within Outlook Express or from Start, All Programs, Accessories? From there, try File, Import....
