I have a strange one with a client.
She accesses two mailboxes, a personal one and a general one.

Below is her description:

This is what happens:
When using Phone Manager window:
1. Double clicking message box for Bob the voice tells me I have no new messages. I press #1 and the voice tells me I have 2 old messages.
2. Double clicking message box for General the voice tell me I have no new messages. I press #1 and the voice tells me to record my name for the IP system.

When using the phone buttons:
1. Pressing the Pers Msgs button the voice tells me I have no new messages. I press #1 and the voice tells me I have 2 old messages.
2. Pressing the General Msgs button the voice tells me I have no new messages. I press #1 and the voice tells me I have 2 old messages (which are actually messages from my personal mail box.)

Any thoughts...

Thanks!

I guess the versions might help...

IP Office 3.2(53)
VM Pro 3.2(28)

one more handy piece of info IP Office 406v2

how are you pressing the general message button? is this a phantom user? need more info on exaclty what buttons are being pushed.

This is a speed dial button that is programmed on a users phone.

If there is a new message it picks it up fine. If it's an old one it exhibits the behavior described above.

I had something simular on 3.2.53
only thing different was that the the new mail was gone
this was with embedded voicemail
