can't get into vista

Have Dell laptop running Vista Basic. HAve one admin acct and two standard accounts. All of a sudden can still get into admin acct but CAN'T get into the two standard accounts. removed McAfee, cleaned/tuned PC, loaded Norton 360, same results. Help. Thanks.

Are they available at login screen or missing? Are they in Control Panel-Users?
