Hi,

I've been planning on using the Access security for my db, so I created 2 users just for testing purposes: 1 admin level and 1 user level. But I tried to get rid of the Access security and I deleted the user level login and cleared the password for Admin (not the admin level user) and now I'm locked out of my db. I have the workgroup ID and whatever is on the security wizard report but I don't know how to use it to get back into my db.

PLEASE HELP!!

Have you tried holding down the Shift key as you open your database?

As far as recreating the file I think you follow the same steps you did the first time.

Binky ::)

Do I just hold shift when I double click on the shortcut or as I open it from the Open window in access? Cuz I tried both ways and same thing happened.

How do I recreate the file? Actually, what file are you talking about?

THANKS FOR RESPONDING!

Nm, I figured it out. I was able to recreate the workgroup file so i am now in my program.

Thanks for looking!!
