Can't Find HD in Master

Hi!

I can't find my 40 gig Maxtor HD in the bios under Secondary Master...
I DO find it in Secondary Slave when i put the jumper in slave, but when i but the jumper on master, he does'nt find it...

Any idea's???

Are you using the right connector on the IDE cable too? (if its 80 wire, needs to be connected to end connector to be master). Has drive got 2 master jumper settings (one with one without slave) - and if so, are you using the correct one? Does same this happen on the Secondary IDE?
