Can't export from CR Viewer to pdf

Hello,

We have an application that has the Crystal Reports Viewer bundled on it's CD to view reports from the application's db. The viewer works fine, except that pdf format is not one of the choices in the viewer export windows dropdown box. The file "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\2.0\bin\crxf_pdf.dll" did get installed. I've installed both the V8.5 and V9 viewers that were available on the application disk. When I install this application on a pc that has Crystal Reports Developer installed, pdf is one of the export options. The vendor of the application hasn't been able to help, and I wondered if anyone here has ever seen this before.

Try putting crxf_pdf.dll in the Windows\Crystal directory as well (that's where it should exist for CR8 and 8.5).

Thanks for that, but unfortunately crxf_pdf.dll was already in the Windows/Crystal directory.

This is driving me nuts!

The problem is most likely with crtslv.dll and ExportModeller.dll, they both need to be "registered" for PDF and RTF export to work.
