can't dial exts. above 500

I have users at a remote facility that connect in to a Lucent Definity at the facility where I am located. The users over there cannot dial any extensions above 500, which are used for paging systems and some phones. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

Are they using a remote EPN or are they on a different switch connected via tie?
