I am running XP and anti-virus AVG. It keeps coming up with the message that MSF.DLL is infected. After scanning the hard drive it lists the file as being infected, but it cannot get rid of it. When I go into System 32 I cannot even see it. The only way I can see the file is to make teh hard drive a slave in another system. I try to delete the file and it says check to make sure it is not protected. I try to change the attributes so that it is not read-only and it won't allow me to change them. Any ideas how I can get rid of this file? It is infected with a backdoor virus. Any ideas?
