can't delete a file that's "ready to be written to CD"

I'm trying to remove a file from the "ready to be written to CD" folder, but I can't. When I try to delete the file, I get the error message: "cannot delete 'file name': It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again." I've closed everything down, but still the message.

Try rebooting or try Safe Mode.
