can't creat mailbox in exchange

Please helpp..

i just moved from a to a new exchange 2000 server, however my previous exchange 2000 is online still, i just moved the public folders and mailboxed, however i have a issue, i can't create new mailbox in AD, i get the prompt that it says its going to create the mailbox, but it doens't, i have looked at the up update recepient services, and made sure as well as put the new server as a glboal server, the current users dont' have a prob, also i can't creat new users with mailbox's, also i noticed one thing, i dont' ahve a exchange advanced tab either for my current users, any helppp

If you're not getting an error message then it's working fine. However, the mailbox itself won't be created until you send an email to it or until the user logs into it via Outlook (not Outlook Web Access) the first time.
