Hey,

I have a few Access XP databases. Everytime I open a database that's already opened by another user, I get a message that I won't be able to save the changes.
It says I have to get everybody out of the database, or have exclusive access to it.

Is this normal? Can't I make changes to a XP database that's already opened?

Thanks in advance

No, I don't think you can't save a database (or a Word/Excell document) when it's opened by another user. I know that I never suceeded in doing such.
