This is a new cable modem installation. I didn't know Cox don't allow servers to be connected to their cable modem.
The Tech told me, they will disconnect the cable, if they found a server connected to the modem.
Modem>>>>>>>Router>>>>>>>>Hub>>>>>>>LAN
Router has NAT, DHCP and I received an IP to each workstation on the LAN, and internet traffic is routing into the LAN, but I cannot browse the internet.
I know traffic is comming to the LAN becasue my workstation's MSN Messanger notify me of new mail, but when I try to retrieve mail, IE6 goes black.
I can ping the next hop and cisco.com, but dropping packet when I do a trace route.
Did the Cox's Tech block me or my configuration is not routing traffic out?
